Senior Transport Procurement Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for transport carrier development, optimization, and operation;
• Responsible for service provider negotiation, communication, and maintenance;
• Industry’s competitive information acquisition;
• Collaborate with service providers in various countries;
• Involve in setting up and optimizing the carrier performance reviewing system;
• Be a point of contact for escalations from carriers and warehouses;
• Coordinate with warehouses and local planning teams;
• Support Sales and operations in providing transport solutions.

Job Requirements:

• At least 3 years experience in planning or forwarding over the road transport for either FTL or LTL transport;
• Experience in procurement and channel related jobs with good communication and negotiation skills will be a plus;
• Experience in truck planning is a great addition;
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, beneficial would be Chinese, Spanish, Polish, Lithuanian, Russian and Romanian;
• Excellent planning and time management skills with the ability to pioneer new ideas;
• Capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and external partners;
• Open-minded, with the ability to adapt and learn actively to the fast-paced, fast-growing cross-border logistics industry.
