Transport Operation Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

• Transport-related data analysis and visualization;
• Support the Transport Operation team’s daily work; Support the planning of Transport projects;
• Track and trace shipments daily which should be done in an accurate and timely manner;
• Ensure easy and timely freight process flow; Ensure delivery of freight is done in a timely manner;
• Ensure accurate and timely client invoicing;
• Contribute to maintaining strong relationships with carriers and customers;
• Contribute to improving efficiency within the department;
• Ensure all customers’ standard operating procedures are followed and updated; Communication – timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external); Ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner;
• Multitasking skills when it comes to workspace and computer software programs.

Job Requirements:

• At least a bachelor’s degree (Logistics background is a plus);
• Logistics experience preferred but not required; High quality verbal and written; communications skills, including demonstrated abilities to listen, understand, and communicate clearly and concisely to achieve positive results;
• Problem solver – quality decision making;
• Ability to work in teams;
• Pro-active, strong organizational skills;
• Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
• Fluent in English, other language is an advantage.
