QHSE Supervisor

Location: Netherlands Release Date: 15. May. 2022

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and ensure that all Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental legislation is complied with and ensure a safe working environment for all warehouses in the whole European Region;
  • Provide direction and guidance to the management team and employees on QHSE issues within the workplace;
  • Maintain and regularly review all related documentation in line with legal requirements. Issue updates and ensure documentation is easily available to all personnel, as well as provide training as and when required;
  • Writing internal health and safety policies/strategies; Drawing-up safe operational procedures; Making regular site inspections;
  • Making recommendations following accidents/incidents;
  • Providing health and safety training courses for employees and managers;
  • Investigating/recording incidents, accidents, complaints and cases of ill health;
  • Undertaking risk assessments; Identifying potential hazards;
  • Determining ways of reducing risks.


Job Requirements:

  • Degree in health, safety, or environment field of study(prefer, not mandatory);
  • Have relevant qualifications and have at least one year experience, ideally in a similar sector;
  • Should be familiar with Quality Management Standard, Health and Safety Management, Environmental Management;
  • Be comfortable developing the Company’s QHSE systems and encouraging a culture of excellence and compliance;
  • Be knowledgeable with all aspects of the above standards, relevant legislation and compliance requirements;
  • Have excellent verbal and written English with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels within the company;
  • Have a high level of competency and accuracy in writing and maintaining clear and professional documentation relating to integrated management systems;
  • Possess strong planning, organizing, teamwork, project management and presentation skills.
