Head of Transport Management Dept.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for transport management in the European Region. Ensuring fast, safe and budget-friendly cargo organization; and overseeing transport equipment and personnel for transport network operations;
• Responsible for the improvement, planning and optimization of the transportation network in the European region to ensure that it matches the company’s development strategy;
• Sort out the workflow of transportation management and optimize work efficiency; organize staff work contents and schedule;
• Development and management of external transport service providers, contracting, performance management;
• Responsible for following up the updates of various relevant regulations, including regulations on dangerous goods, employee safety, cargo categories, etc., to ensure transportation safety and the integrity and legality of related documents;
• Plan the transportation network, build a quality management system, and ensure that the transportation network and all links in the process work effectively and run smoothly;
• Establish an operation reporting system to ensure the judgment, correction and optimization of transportation operation problems.

Job Requirements:

• Management experience in large-scale logistics/cross-border e-commerce-related enterprises;
• At least 5 years of working experience in the Transportation fields (road transport will be a preference). More than 3 years of management role experience;
• Possession of practical knowledge and actual working experience in Both Chinese and European corporations, extensive comprehension in enterprise Culture, and labor laws, are essential for this position;
• Prior experience in logistics or E-Commerce industries are strongly preferred;
• Fluency (writing and speaking) in English, and Chinese will be a plus;
• Strong Numerical and Analytical skills; Extensive Industry Knowledge;
• Maintaining attention to detail;
• Ability to multitask.
